  2. *Wedding Bells?*

    Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are getting hitched today… or maybe not!

    According to E! News, the ‘Twilight’ actress and ‘American Idol’ alum are set to get married today in Malibu, CA. The duo met in March at the ‘Red Riding Hood’ red carpet and have been engaged since June. McDonald’s band, The Grand Magnolias and fellow ‘AI’ alum, Stefano Langone are set to perform at the event. Nikki’s maid of honor is ‘Spy Kids’ star, Alexa Vega and she told E!, “[the wedding] will be small.”

    However, now People has reported that the wedding rumors might be false. A source said, “Stefano Langone will be performing at it and he’s in Las Vegas performing for Eva Longoria and George Lopez at their annual “Padres Contra El Cancer”, suggesting the wedding will not take place today.

    I guess we just have to wait and see. If today is the day… Congrats to the happy couple! I can’t wait to see what Nikki wears down the aisle! And, I will keep you posted on this event.

    Our tweet of the week comes from the lovely, Ashley Tisdale.

    She tweeted, “Proud to say I’m extension free!!!! rocking the shorter hair for fall.” I have to say, I think it looks great!

    Tisdale is known primarily for her work on the Disney Channel’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ and her role as Sharpay in the ‘High School Musical’ films. She also appeared last year in the CW’s ‘Hellcats’, which was canceled after one season.

    The actress announced big news yesterday, stating that she will executive produce and star in an upcoming ABC show called, ‘Under Construction’.

    Good luck and can’t wait to see the new show!

    Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus are engaged!

    You know Brenda from her work on the Disney Channel and also her appearance in late year’s ‘The Social Network’. And, if you haven’t put it together already, Trace is Miley Cyrus’ older brother. The couple have been dating for about a year and a half and Brenda is rumored to be pregnant with their first child.

    Trace tweeted, “I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!”

    Congrats to the duo and Trace… Well done on that ring, gorgeous!

    - Taylor Swift launched her new perfume, Wonderstruck, at Macy’s Herald Square yesterday.
    - Hilary Duff and hockey hubby, Mike Comrie are having a baby BOY!
    - ‘The Rum Diaries’ premiere last night at LACMA. I drove by the set-up and it looked great. Johnny Depp, co-star, Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhard and Giovanni Ribisi all made appearances.
    - Happy Birthday Usher! The R&B sensation and JB’s older brother turns 33 today.
    - Megan Fox’s new Armani Beauty Holiday Campaign pictures were released. Megan is such a sweet-heart, I met her on the set of ‘This is 40′. She looks great in the new images.
    - Katy Perry announced that her second perfume will be released in November.

  7. *This Means War Trailer*

    Reese Witherspoon is one LUCKY lady… Check out the trailer for the new Tom Hardy and Chris Pine film, ‘This Means War’. Sad thing is we have to wait till February 17, 2012 to see it.

    The lovely Selena Gomez walked the red carpet for the new Universal film, ‘The Thing’. Quick side note, ‘The Thing’ stars Joel Edgerton who was in one of my favorite movies of the year so far, ‘Warrior’ (Shameless plug… GO see it!). Selena has been super busy on her ‘We Own the Night’ tour, which heads to Canada later this month.

    JB’s better half looked great in black sequin shorts and a loose-fitting white top. The outfit was fun, casual and age appropriate. And, those shoes, perfect! The last little detail to pull the look together was Selena’s statement bracelet.

Any white top will do, but try to find one with dolman sleeves, like this one from Elizabeth and James. I love this line from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Even though it is a bit pricey (this shirt retails for $255) the pieces are classic and will become staples in your closet. Check it out here. Next, you have find a great statement shoe. I found these Calvin Klein Arianna Sandals on sale at Macy’s for $68.60.  The elastic straps will make them super comfortable and the ankle straps will really punch up any outfit.   9. *Hilary’s Devoted to Her Books*

    Hilary Duff is positively glowing. Yes, we all know the 24 year old star is expecting her first child with hubby, Mike Comrie. However, she is also radiant from the success of her new book.

    Duff appeared on ‘Good Morning America’ to talk about ‘Devoted’, a follow up to the enormously successful ‘Elixir’, which was released in June of 2011. The actress also admits that there is a third book in the works and told MTV News,

    “I’m gonna start writing soon. It will probably be very emotional for my state. I think it will come out a little sooner because it will be easier and quicker.”

    Big props to the once Disney star who has definitely made a name for herself in the publishing world.

    Now, I want to talk about this outfit. I love the Aztec inspired dress, bright orange blazer and the grey pumps. I think Hilary did a great job of one, disguising her baby bump and two, dressing for the awkward time in-between seasons.

  10. *Me and Mr. Tom Hardy*

    Yesterday, might have been the best day ever. While grocery shopping, I bumped into the beautiful and talented Tom Hardy. You would know him from the many, many amazing films he has been in… ‘Inception’, ‘Warrior’, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Tinker Tailor Solider Spy’ and some of my favorites… ‘Stuart: A Life Backwards’, ‘Wuthering Heights’, ‘Band of Brothers’ and ‘Rocknrolla’.

    Tom was so nice and he did not mind taking a picture with me. We chatted about ‘Warrior’, both of us were shocked at the minimal box office numbers. Also, I asked how ‘The Dark Knight’ filming was going (I saw some while I was in Pittsburgh in August) and he said, “Oh, its good!”. Tom and Reese Witherspoon’s new movie ‘This Means War’ comes out in February as well. Is this guy busy or what?

    I seriously wish I could live yesterday over and over again… Like I said before, A GIRL CAN DREAM, RIGHT?
