  1. *Diane Kruger Shines*

    Another film festival, another red carpet!

    This time it is the Venice Film Festival and actress, Diane Kruger looks amazing! She can seriously do no wrong in my book, she always looks fashionable, polished and appropriate.

    This time Joshua Jackson’s better half is wearing a shimmery champagne Elie Saab dress with silver heels. The detailing on the bodice is gorgeous and I love that she kept her accessories at a minimum, it really lets the dress shine.

    Kruger is at the festival for the premiere of ‘The Ides of March’, starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. With those two, I can see why Diane wanted to be on the guest list! : )

    Kate Bosworth Covers BlackBook Magazine, where author Nick Haramis declares,

    ‘She’ll never admit it, but Kate Bosworth is in the middle of a reawakening.’

    The fashion forward actress chats about her upcoming films that are a bit different from what we’ve see from her in the past. In her next film ‘Straw Dogs’, Kate plays a once-successful television actor who moves back to her hometown with her husband, played by James Marsden.

    Kate expressed, ”I’m really interested in how we, as women, use our sexuality. But I also believe there’s a fine line between the exploration of misogyny and its glorification, so I wanted to make sure that Amy was also intelligent and interesting—so much more than just David Sumner’s wife.”

  4. *Who Wore it Best*

    Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have all been spotted in the same blue Tibi dress.

    So the question is, “Who wore it best?”

    Ariana rocked the dress most recently at the 2011 Angel Awards, while Taylor and Blake both sported the dress on the streets of NYC. I can see the appeal, the dress complements each girl’s skin tone and cinches in at the waist. The popular dress was also spotted on Brooklyn Decker!

    Taylor added a belt to the dress, that I felt was unnecessary and I think the blue hue goes best with blonde hair. So for the question at hand, I would have to say Blake.

  5. *Recipe of the Week*

    Eggplant Parm Sandwiches!

    These sandwiches are so cute and are a new take on eggplant parmesan. Don’t let the amount of steps fool you, they are extremely easy to make!

    Ingredients: 1 Eggplant, 3 Eggs, Breadcrumbs, Vegetable Oil, Ricotta Cheese, 1 Can of Tomato Sauce & Seasonings

    Directions:

    1. Cut the eggplant into thin, 1/4 inch slices.

    2. Beat the 3 eggs together in a bowl. In another bowl, pour out 1 cup of breadcrumbs.

    3. Heat about 3T of Vegetable Oil in a frying pan.

    4. Take a slice of eggplant, dip it in the eggs then the breadcrumbs. Finally, put it in the pan to fry. Continue with all slices.

    5. In another bowl heat about 1 cup of Ricotta Cheese in the microwave, about 1 minute.

    6. Finally, make your sandwich… put an eggplant slice down, spoon in some cheese, top with another slice and then cover with tomato sauce and season.

    ENJOY!

  6. *Kellan Lutz, Fashion Designer?*

    So apparently Kellan Lutz is adding fashion designer to his growing resumé. The ‘Twilight’ actor has created a new menswear line called, Abbot & Main.

    Lutz worked with the Dylan George fashion firm and label founder, Daniel Guez. The actor insisted that he is extremely involved with the designs, telling the ‘LA Times’,

    “Nothing gets decided on unless it comes through me. I put in a lot of input now like I did in the beginning. We raided my closet to find out what type of shirts I usually wear and what kind of fabrics I like. Because I didn’t just want to be the face of the campaign, but have it be my brand.”

    Kellan was at Nordstrom at The Grove in Los Angeles promoting the line last week. Definitely check it out here if you get a chance… The t-shirts look extremely comfortable!

  7. *LC’s Fall Collection*

    LC is one of my favorite dresser, I always look to her to see what trends are hot or what accessories are a must-have.

    The fashionista has been keeping very busy these days… one way, her LC Lauren Conrad Fashion line at Kohl’s!

    The new Fall Collection debuted in stores this week and I am loving the pieces.

    The self title line features numerous tops, layering tanks, skirts, and dresses. The best part about the line is the prices… Everything is under $60!

    Here are some of my favorite pieces from the line!

    This Pleated Chiffon skirt is a great closet staple. The ‘Cafe Tint’ color is so easy to build off of, with off-whites and greens. The skirt originally retailed for $50, but is now on sale for $37.50. Check it out here.

    Polka dots are a summer trend that will definitely be transitioning into fall. These Polka-Dot Chiffon shorts are a great way to incorporate a hot look into a cool and laid back outfit. You can pair them with some heeled booties to dress them up as well. The shorts were originally $44.00, but are on sale for $26.40. Check them out here.

    This Solid Ruffle Tank will work great on any body type. The cinched waist will make everyone look skinny and the cascading ruffles gives off a very feminine feel. The tank also features adjustable straps, so the fit will be perfect. This retails for $21.60, check it out here.

    This past weekend, the young star stepped out looking very casual cool in Los Angeles.

  9. *Nail Files*

    I have found a new obsession… Nail Effects by Sally Hansen!

    The stickers are real nail polish strips and are so easy to put on. The nail effects come in 24 different designs (the one I have on is called Laced Up).

    They stay for about a week, but the plus is… No chipping! And, the nail stickers easily come off with nail polish remover. When I had mine on,I received numerous complements. I definitely recommend checking them out!

    1. Hilary Duff and hockey hubbie, Mike Comrie have announced that the will be expecting their first child.

    2. The cast of ‘Glee’ will be featured in the September issue of Vogue for the Fashion’s Night Out Campaign.

    3. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren welcome baby Haven to the family, she joins older sister, Honor.

    4. Tara Reid married businessman, Michael Lilleund this weekend in Greece.

    5. 5 people died and 40 were injured when the stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair Sugarland Concert.
