  1. *Recipe of the Week*

    Today is July 25!

    That means Christmas is exactly 6 Months away and in the spirit of today, I thought I would share one of my favorite Christmas recipes:

    Pinwheel Cookies!

    The best thing about these… They are super easy to make and they are uber delicious!

    Here’s what you need:

    1 Package of Pre-Made Pie Dough, 3 Eggs & a Cinnamon and Sugar Mixture

    Directions:

    1. Whip the 3 eggs together and paint the egg onto the rolled out pie dough.

    2. Spoon Cinnamon and Sugar mixture over the egg.

    3. Roll pie dough back up and cut into 1/2 inch slices.

    4. Place onto a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.

    I don’t know about you, but I am definitely making a batch of these when I get home tonight! ENJOY!

    Olivia Munn looks super cute and extra sassy on the red carpet for the ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ premiere.

    I am a huge fan of how the geek goddess dresses and really love this combination. Its not too casual or too dressy… And, it is just the right amount of fun for a red carpet at Comic-Con in San Diego.

    This outfit is extremely easy to pull off! Anyone can find inspiration in Olivia’s version and put together an adorable ensemble.

    Kristen Stewart was spotted at LAX returning to LA after a weekend trip up to Toronto to visit boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, on the set of his new film, ‘Cosmopolis’.

    Kristen will be undoubtedly dressing like a disney princess soon as she gears up to shoot ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, but for now she is sporting her usual get-up… t-shirt and jeans.

    I am going to show you some keep pieces and explain how you can rock Kristen’s totally laid-back, casually cool look!

    All you need are some skinny jeans, a v-neck tee, a basic hoodie, sneakers and stylish sunglasses. Here are some examples…

  4. *Wizard’s Brew*

    The ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2′ New York City premiere is happening as we speak!  I can’t wait to see what Emma Watson wears for her final Potter red carpet, she has been on an absolute fashion tear lately.  But, while you watch the live stream at eonline, I have the perfect recipe to get you into the magical mood… FOAMING WIZARD’S BREW!

     

    Ingredients:

    10 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, 10 Tablespoons of Green Cordial, 2.5 Liters of Lemonade, and 2 Teaspoons of Blue Sprinkles

     

     

    Directions:

    1. Place 1 Scoop of Ice Cream into Base of a Clear Cup

    2. Drizzle 1 T of Cordial over the Ice Cream

    3. Slowly Pour Lemonade over Ice Cream, Filling the Glass

    4. Top with some Blue Sprinkles

  5. *Flea Market Fun*

    First things first… It was extremely sunny on Saturday, so I am totally squinting in this picture! Haha, but anyways, the roommate and I checked out the Silverlake Art, Crafts and Vintage Market this weekend and it was awesome!

    I can’t encourage you enough to get out on the weekend and walk around your local flea market. There are great treasures just waiting for you to find them… Vases, books, clothing, antiques and sooo much more.

    I found this amazing silk blouse with bows down the center… and if you know me, I love BOWS! It was only $15 and it is SO versatile. You can tuck it into a pair of skinny jeans or into a pencil skirt.

    Definitely check out your local flea market this weekend and let me know if you find anything good!

  6. *Calling All Cowboys*

    Prince William and Kate Middleton are scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles today… AH! So excited (Not that I have any chance in seeing them!).

    Yesterday, they were still galavanting around Canada, with a stop in Calgary to attend a stampede. The newlyweds were dressed appropriately in their western wear, looking adorable!

    I love adapting cowboy attire to a fun summer outfit! So in honor of the royals visit, here are some fun pieces that are sure to do the trick!

  7. *Arm Candy*

    I love to layer bracelets… I call it ARM CANDY!

    Everyday, you will find me with stacks and stacks up my arm, its kinda just my thing.   Well I am lovin’ this combo today! What do you think?  I have a sage green bangle from H&M (they have great accessories and CHEAP!), a robe and gold chain braid from Nordstrom, my Marc Jacobs watch, and two beaded bracelets from Gap with a peace sign and wishbone charm.

    You can literally put anything together and it looks great, it really adds to your outfit. Let me know if you try this and post some pictures so I can see!

  8. *Fashion Faux Pas*

    Selena, Selena, Selena…

    You know I love you girl, but what is with the suede booties in SUMMER!

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    The young star was photographed for the past two days in London supporting the Launch of Disney HD. Selena is usually spot on with her fashion decisions, but I cannot get over these shoes.  I know it can be cold and that it rains a lot in London, but wearing suede booties in July is a BIG no!

    I would try colorful, strappy heels with the black dress to give it a punch and a pair of nude peep toes with the sparkly shirt and jeans combo (which I love!).

    If you haven’t seen it yet, Selena’s movie, ‘Monte Carlo’ came out last weekend, so make sure to check it out!

    I hope everyone has an AMAZING July 4th Weekend!

    I don’t know about you, but it is one of my favorite holidays! One reason… the July 4th FASHION! No one did it better than Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in this beautiful floral maxi with cutout back.  We all know Rosie can turn heads on the red carpet, her looks have been unbelievable while out promoting ‘Transformers 3′, but this casual look is one of my favorites!

  10. *Recipe of the Week*

    ‘Horrible Bosses’ comes to theaters this Friday, July 8th!

    In honor of the release, this week’s recipe is one of my favorite things to make for a work potluck… RAMEN NOODLE SALAD!

    Ingredients: 1/2 Head of Green Cabbage (chopped), 1 Carrot (shredded), 4 Green Onions (chopped), 1 Package of Ramen Noodles, 2 Tablespoons Slivered Almonds

    Dressing: 1/2 Cup Oil, 3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar, 3 Tablespoons Sugar, Salt & Pepper, Flavor Packet from Ramen Noodles

    Directions:

    1. Toast the nuts in a warm oven for 6-8 Minutes, watch carefully because they will burn easily, then cool.

    2. Combine cabbage, carrots and onions.

    3. Break up noodles and add to vegetables.

    4. Before serving, add nuts and the mixed dressing, toss well

    5. ENJOY!

    No one wants to be the person whose dish is left uneaten at the company potluck, you want to be the star! You want everyone to be asking you for the amazing recipe and with this easy salad, you will be just that!

    Plus, if your boss is like a character in the movie, this is one way to avoid another criticism, because everyone enjoys this dish!
